Yesterday, Edmonton set a record for cold: it was minus 42.
God hates Alberta.

...just as a curious side-note, if we're going to assume God exists, then we have to assume the Devil exists as well...if so, then we shouldn't be so quick to blame God for this -42 weather. Perhaps he momentarily dozed off or was busy doing something else when the devil snuck in and did this nasty bit of business in hopes of being able to lure more innocent victims with promises of warmth and toastiness below...or maybe, God really just does hate Alberta!!!
glad I spent the weekend in a soccer tournament in calgary -- of course one soccer centre collapsed under snow a week before the tourney started and the one we (not actually ME--off-spring: miss mushrooms) were at had no working toilets (too cold)
perhaps god and the devil both hate alberta equally...

I can't imagine anything that cold - even my freezer doesn't get that cold!!!!! (Melbourne, sunny and 29C today)
