It's Dead Directors Week

Michelangelo Antonioni died. He was even older than Bergman.

Who's left? Who's next?

The're dropping like very old flies.

Whilst the guy who made the new Underdog movie SHOULD be put to death slowly and painfully, I'm trying to narrow this list of potential dead directors to very old Europeans. Almovodar's not nearly old enough. Neither is von Trieur.

In that case...Ken Russell? Warner Herzog? Roman Polanski? Lina Wertmuller?...

or are some of these dead already?

Polanski could go, I guess.

Then, as a tribute we would have to rent that awful movie with his wife and Hugh Grant. The one about the cruise. So bad, it was good.

I completely forget the title of that movie.

I do remember going to see The Ninth gate with you as well. All I remember from that is the old woman speeding across the room in her wheelchair.
