Surgery is back on for Tuesday. I found out late this afternoon. I have to be at the hospital in 12 hours! GULP!
Can I sue the surgeon for mental cruelty? This is insane. I'm trying to pack my bag now, but I'm really just sitting around panicking.

I just spoke to the blogmistress a few minutes ago - the surgery went well yesterday and she went for her first walk down the hall today (a day later). She is being released tomorrow from the hospital and I expect she will be back blogging shortly as she recovers - code for "sits at home during the worst of winter and has the cats do her bidding".
