Technical difficulties have finally been resolved at the Mushroom household.

Turns out Foxfire was the key. I have no idea what that is but others here mentioned it and turns out they were right. Hats off to you knowledgeable people.

whew! being silent on james joyce, chips, and much astronutty-diaper-wearing-nutbars was rough. glad to be back to home blog-commenting.
as for foxfire a word barely understood but the wool-hatted, black t-shirt wearing blogger-help-dudes suggested it and it worked where all that fiddling w/security levels was just too confusing for an elderly person such as myself.
Phew...I was getting worried that any Farrah and Kiss references I made would go unappreciated!
