Oscar Break
It's 9:56 p.m. and may I say that this broadcast is a dog. Woof!
Al Gore looked handsome though. He and Leo are the nicest looking couple of the night.
Jack Nicholson looks like Brando in Apocalypse Now. What's that about?

I have heard some results. Because of the time diff, the results come out here mid afternoon and the actual program is delay telecast on Monday night. I already heard we picked up an Oscar for Happy Feet, but 'our' Cate missed out. Haven't actually seen any footage yet, but heard Cate and Penelope Cruz look stunning (they always do). I'm with you, can't stand Ellen (keeping it patriotic, she does live with an Aussie.......)
It was dull. And Ellen DeGeneres was just as I predicted. Awful. Lame. Etc.
Big Al is very big indeed. Apparently, if he starts to lose weight that will be a sign that he's gearing up to run for Pres. Nobody wants a fat President. Because, as we have all learned in the past 6 years, the only thing that matters is that the Pres is physically fit. Right?
