This picture could easily be fake - that doesn't look like any Tuscan dog I've ever seen.

It's so much more pleasant to focus on the puppy (or my cool hiking boots) and not on the really large focal point to the left.Or, as the art history teachers used to say, notice how your eye naturally gravitates to the largest object on the canvas.
