I didn't watch any of McGrumpy's speech last night. I couldn't be bothered, preferred to go to bed early.
But this morning I quickly flipped to CNN and ABC, and both networks were talking about....Sarah Palin's speech. This leads me to suspect that McC underwhelmed the crowd?
Whatever. Our campaign starts Monday, and the CBC was tearing into Harper last night about breaking his own election law. This could be fun.

Love the nicknames for her though - Calamity jane, Annie Oakley, Alaskan trailer park trash, Governor of an oversized igloo (thank you Maureen Dowd for that one).
Saw a little bit of McCain's speech - he looked kind of uncomfortable spouting some of that stuff, or was he trying not to laugh? (no, irony does not exist in the US, must remember that).
