The house was really cold this morning so I decided to rev up the furnace. Not that I can afford to frivolously burn my preciousssss oil, but the place needed a jolt of heat.
So I turned up the thermostat...and....pfft. She no work.
It's going to be a grrrreat Fall and Winter. I can feel it in my bones.

I thought you got all that fixed last year...?
I had the furnace cleaned just one month ago, but apparently it is so pristine it refuses to work.
It's like when you've just washed your hands and you don't want to get them dirty again.
Well, our electricity was off here for nearly 24 hours. Waiting for the account to fix it....expecting it to be handed to me accompanied by a very strong drink....
