Certain Death?

OK. The US National Weather Service is getting scary. Usually their reports use nice words like "low pressure system" and "chance of showers" but not today. Today they're threatening CERTAIN DEATH in the path of the hurricane. Yikes.

"Persons not heeding evacuation orders in single family one- or two-storey homes will face certain death."

Stop it. You're scaring me!

They're just hoping to have a big tragedy on 9/12...that way next year, they can turn their Special TV News Coverage into a two-day event.

I'm surprised they don't re-name this hurricane, Hurricane Bin.

I just watched a little bit of Fox News (5 minutes is about all I can stand) and I notice they've sent Gerraldo down there - whats he going to do - stand on the beach, hold his hand up and command Ike to stop right there?
