Ware

Where the hell is Michael Ware? Is he still in New York? Why isn't he back in Baghdad? His rabid fans await his return. There is still news happening there, you know, and he could, like, be reporting on it, maybe?

(Yes, I have regained some of my fightin' form.)

If you're so concerned, why don't you send him an email and find out?

"Before leaving to return to Baghdad, Michael sat down with Anderson Cooper for an interview."

Which was apparently on last Friday 26 Jan.

Thanks for this info. Obviously I didn't see that interview, as I was on my sick bed at the time.
I await his return to the war zone.

I didn't know he was back either, thanks. I also read somewhere that he takes an extended holiday about this time every year and that he has a book coming out, titled Foreign Correspondant. I don't know if that's 100% accurate or not.

I had a feeling he might be writing a book. Why else take such a long leave. I found his interview on AC360 last week on another blog. It was pretty typical and funny, with him throwing his hands in the air and just generally looking disgusted with the whole Bush administration line. heh.

It was great. I loved how he discussed the word civil war. I think his book may be on the time al queda kidnapped him in 2003 in Iraq. Apparently other insurgents got him released, but he thought he was a goner. That's the story he told Anderson....

He definately has a book coming out here later this year (I have a post on the other forum about it). No doubt it will be available in the northern hemisphere as well.
