Milk

Our cafeteria has run out of 2% milk. At home, I drink 1%, but at work the choices are 2% or skim. So for now I have to drink skim.

God it's foul.

I hated it as a kid, but thought that now that I am older and wiser, and maybe my taste buds are fading, it wouldn't be so bad.

But it's still horrible. Yuck.

Believe it or not, I have never, ever tasted skim milk.

Just sort of by happenstance, but I think that streak will continue as long as I can maintain it.

We always had skim at home (and my friends always stuck to o.j. when they slept over...hmmm...)

In other news, someone left a bag of cinnamon sweet potato chips in the kitchen for us to sample. Chips without salt just aren't very gratifying.

People magically "leave" chips in your kitchen? I wanna work there.

I only drink skim milk...and am so used to it that 2% feels like I'm downing phlegm...we won't even talk about 3.25%

Phlegm? Come on. I could accept thinking that 2% is a bit thick or creamy, but phlegm!

3%, okay, maybe a bit phlegm, but not 2%.

(And that, children, is how the Great Milk War of 2008 all started...)
