Ever Notice?

how when you slip and fall on the ice, time comes to a standstill?

I had my first fall of the season about half an hour ago. Stupid effing black ice.

It was weird how slowly I slid to the ground. I didn't think that I had hurt myself at all (well, there's the pride thing) but now my left hip is starting to throb a bit.

I love winter! It is the bestest!

I only had one fall this year...and that was on the first day it snowed back in December...or did it first snow in November...actually, it feels like it first snowed back in early September.

On an unrelated note, just to let you know, I might have to go back to watching the news, just to see cutie-pie Michel Godbout on CBC.

News hasn't been this pretty and fun since those Yvan and Tom late- nights back when!

As long as you are watching the news that's what matters.

Michel Godbout, eh? He's kind of plain, no? Nothing against him, but I don't see the appeal. He's too young for you, too!

There's no substitue for Yvan and Tom.

Ms Mushrooms may be interested (or not) to know that Mitsumi Takahashi (Yvan's then squeeze, still? I dunno) is still on Channel 12. She's the lamest, dullest anchor in the world and she's been there about 20 years now. I just don't get it.

Speaking of Channel 12, Rob Lurie. Now he's cute.

...yes, I agree, he is plain...but he has such a cute face and smile...

Actually, to keep my stress level down, perhaps I should watch the news with the sound off.
