Rah Rah

I just saw an advert for a new Russian restaurant called Rasputin.

I know I'm going to suffer a couple of Abba-related comments, but frankly, we've all seen pictures of Rasputin.

Is that a face you associate with a tasty lunch? I wouldn't want that grubby creep going anywhere near my plate.

Had to research on my own...the following is from US Magazine...as it turns out, he wasn't one of the Fabba4...so who cares???

member of the Swedish pop group ABBA was found with cuts to his neck. An autopsy ruled the death of 62-year-old Ola Brunkert, a former drummer for the band, an accident, according to the Associated Press.

A Civil Guard spokesman confirmed to the AP that Brunkert hit his head against a glass door in his dining room, shattering the glass and fatally cutting him in the neck. While he managed to wrap a towel around the wound, he collapsed in his garden when going to seek help.

"It is tragic," ABBA band member Benny Anderson told Swedish daily Expressen.

“He was a very creative musician who contributed a lot when we toured together and worked in the studio," band member Bjorn Ulvaeus added.

Brunkert played with ABBA (whose regular members consisted of Anderson, Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad) on their first single, “People Need Love,” and toured with them in 177, 1979 and 1980.

If he had been in the band they would've had to change their name to ABBAO or OBABA or BOABA. etc etc etc. Catchiness would have been lost.
