Don't Call Me

I have just registered on the National Do Not Call List.

I'm truly skeptical that this will allow me to safely answer the phone between 6 and 7 p.m. without having the split-second delay, before someone says "May I speak to Mr. or Mrs...." argh.

What is the latest a telemarketer has ever called you? I've gotten 9 p.m. calls from the Gazette and I'm just barely managed not to yell at them. Quit bugging me, people.

I don't get them at night a lot, because I'm rarely home, but I get them before 8am sometimes (this, despite being on the U.S. do-not-call list ... which apparently still allows charities or any company I've ever done business with). For someone who usually isn't out of bed by 9, that's always a joy.

We don't get any early in the morning, but it always used to ring b/w 6 and 7pm. I registered on our do not call list some months ago and am so glad I did! I think around 9.00pm would be my latest.

whenever they ask for Mr. F...I know...oh, mr. F...he's dead.

or better yet, they get a night when Aidan answers the phone, then it just serves them right! =)
