Saw a bunch of trailers yesterday. I predict that the other big summer comedy hit (after Knocked Up) is going to be the Adam Sandler movie, the one about the two firemen who pretend to be gay and marry to get pension benefits. There was just something about the trailer that made me think this one's going to be huge.
And will it offend gay people? Of course it will. But that won't stop the crowds.

And Hollywood continues to sink to new depths with its films.....and anything with Adam Sandler is to be avoided at all costs! (says she who had to sit through Punch Drunk Love a few years back..)
Oh, I hate to say it, susie, but Punch Drunk Love is the only Adam Sandler movie I paid to see, and liked it.
It had Luis Guzman in it, for heaven's sake. Luis Rules.

OK...here's what upsets me, not that A.S. is playing a gay man to reap the financial rewards...the real stretch here is that he is playing a fireman, when we all know that firemen are hot and sexy!
Come on, Hollywood, Mr. Sandler ain't no fireman we've ever seen. A young Tom Selleck, now there's a fireman!
