Interesting thing in the paper today. Seems Palin wanted to deliver her own concession speech on Tuesday, before McCain's. He told her that it was not customary for the VP candidate to give a speech on election night.
This raises some interesting points:
1) Did none of her handlers knows that she was not supposed to give a speech?
1a) If so, did nobody tell her?
1b) If they did tell her, did she just tell them to write one for her anyway?
1c) If they didn't know, what were they doing working on a campaign? or
eeeek!
2) Did she write a speech herself?
O, ye gods of news leaks, if 2) is in fact the case, please, please let that speech find its way onto the Internet. I so want to read it.

Other weird fact, her 7-year-old daughter bought a $700 purse with Republican funds? This is gossip gold.

"Her" people are the same ones who thought Nicholas Sarkozy wanted to talk to her and let her take the call and she didn't twig, even though WE all know Nick doesn't speak English - plus one of the first things the hoaxer said was 'my chief adviser is Johnny Hallyday".
And the latest - Africa is a country, not a continent. Can't wait to hear more Sarah-isms. And yes, its very strange that the daughter had a $700 handbag - what would she put in it??
