On the town

In a highly uncharacteristic turn of events, I was on Crescent Street last night with the gang of old bags...I mean, with the girls.

My 52-year-old friend says: God, the men are so old. When we used to come here 25 years ago, the men were young.
Me: It's the same men. They're still coming here.
Friend: But they're old!!

In non-news, I hated the Crescent Street scene 25 years ago, and I still hate it. Who are these people? ick.

I'm with you. In the past couple of years, I've gone there three/four times (because some girls from work who I like go there)...and I just keep thinking "the people here are all so uninteresting and dull" Ick might sum it up better...and yet these girls in question are interesting, so why would they want to go there???

Crescent Street denizens were always uninteresting and dull - so much so that they would never think to use the word "denizens".

See how I made myself seem exciting and hip?
