The Younger Generation

When I met Fancy Feast a few weeks back, he could not believe I had ordered a Diet Coke. He insisted that soda gives you cancer. Apparently, I should drink water.

This weekend, I had coffee with the Tall Teacher and he is appalled, appalled, that I put sugar in my coffee. "That is so bad for you," he says.

What is with these people? I hardly know how to bring up the topic of CHIPS with either of them. I may have to live in the Chip Closet, munching in the privacy of my own home. And I won't feel guilty about it!

and while you're at it: sprinkle some sugar on those chips

Actually, I have to agree with both of them. Refined sugar equals evil and soda equals death.

Chips, however, are another story. They are fun and tasty and to be shared with friends...or act as a friend substitute when you are alone and feeling blue.

Speaking of which, I noticed PC has a new flavour out...BallPark Hotdog. I sense a chip review approaching in the coming weeks.

Chips are always my friend substitute. I don't know if that fact requires a smiley face emoticon, or a sad face emoticon.

I was worried about heart disease from all the salt in the soup I eat, but I just found out the plastic lining in the can will get me way before that.
