In the news

I am shocked that Palin is resigning. There's got to be a money scandal roaring down the pipe, and she is trying to get out of the public eye quickly. Maybe she'll even get arrested. That would be nice.

The real question: will this shock story get CNN off the Michael Jackson thing for more than 5 minutes? I wouldn't count on it.

Its always suspicious when politicians resign unexpectedly mid-term, unless it turns out they have some awful illness. I would put nothing past her and I daresay it won't be the last we'll hear of this awful woman.

And can I just add - who are these sad people standing around outside Neverland - get a life!!!! I heard one woman from San Francisco interviewed on the radio today who said she'd hardly slept since MJ died and was travelling down to LA for the funeral.....I simply don't understand the level of attachment these people have to celebrities - can anyone explain?

I wonder too. How much spare time do you have that you can devote hours to hanging around Neverland. I don't know. Don't these people have groceries to buy? And bills to pay? You know, a life? Perhaps not.

Maybe just even acquire a sense of perspective?

Put me on the WTF bandwagon here! I had someone ask me if I was going to register for Memorial tickets....I was dumbfounded...why I never met the man!

There's someone here who got a ticket and is flying over - more money than brains!
