C'est l'hiver

Yesterday, Environment Canada informed us all that "most of Canada" would not have a white Christmas this year.

Look at the window, dude.

Didn't you know that we're not really considered part of Canada.

We in the city should still count ourselves lucky. T up north has over a foot since yesterday...maybe even a foot and a half or two. He's really not happy!

Most? C'mon pretty much everything north of the 50th parallel is already white. More Toronto-centric nonsense, I say (while admitting that it's green as green can be in little St Marys).

edmonton (also not part of canada) has had snow since mid-october

"9 months of winter
3 months of poor sledding"

Mushrooms, we have loads of big fluffy Montreal snow today. The kind you like because you don't live here anymore.

I am hoping TO has a a green Xmas since that is where I shall be. Boxing Day shopping without having to wear boots is the goal.

Knuckles, my friends who have cottages up north said that all the snow was "lovely" and "beautiful". So clearly T has an attitude problem. heh!

Out of curiosity...do your cottage friends live there full-time and have areas that need shovelling? Do they have satellite dishes that conk out when snow lands on it?

Or are they merely get-away cottages, where they snuggle up in front of the fire with a glass of wine and a bowl of chips in an attempt to escape city strss?

Definitely two-different scenarios.

have to correct my mistakes:

"stress" should have had an "e" in it.

And "two different" does not require a hyphen.

and speaking of chips, I noticed PC had a new flavour out. Moroccan Spice. I didn't bother to buy them. I figured they were just another BBQ variation.

Being my friends, I'd guess they snuggle up with BOTTLES of wine.
