It's not just me, right? The Globe is trying to sneak in some dirty joke with this headline:
"COC's Ring suffers yet another stroke of ill luck"
The story's about the Canadian Opera Company's problems with their production of Wagner's Ring cycle, but I dunno. Okay, maybe it's just me. I'm watching too much Deadwood these days.

Unless the article went on to talk about "their pockets being tight" and having fallen on "hard times", I am sure it was unintentional...
However, what ill luck has befallen them is what I'd like to know?...Did one of the mermaids drown? Did one of the giants fall off the stage? Or did Siegfried get mauled by a white tiger?...My opinion, any opera with Valkries is destined to spell T-R-O-U-B-L-E (no matter how catchy the tune is!)

is that naughty russell smith at it again?
No, but I'm sure that a**hole smith would write an article saying that female opera singers should never be seen in capri pants.
AND they should not have cropped "mom hair"
