I'm slacking off on the job

My neighbour just asked me if I was going to see Bob Dylan on the 18th. I said no, and thought, d'oh, how could I have neglected to mention the return to Montreal of lazy, retirement-age, do-nothing Dylan.

I shall be in el landa de Fidel, and thus will miss the shiftless bum on this swing through town. Why do I figure this won't be the last?

Answer: it's the "never-ending" tour. And it truly is.

I wouldn't walk across the road to see Dylan. In fact, a few years ago I won tickets to a music festival where his Bob-ness was the headline act - we left before he got on stage.

Speaking of aging singers, Leonard Cohen is touring here early next year - worth going??

Only if you are a fan. I love Lenny and he was worth every penny for me. (And the tickets cost a LOT of pennies.) But if you are not a fan, I don't know. He might be boring. But he was amazing the night I saw him.

susie, you don't have to remind me of your "unappreciation" of Dylan. I remember it well. And, yet, I still like you!

Well, thats awfully nice of you Nanuk. I haven't checked out the ticket prices yet, but have just booked my self another overseas holiday, so concerts are not really on the agenda at the moment, unless its someone really special.
