I know this may turn out to be an unpopular statement, but the movie hasn't even opened yet and I'm already sick of all the "new" James Bond hype. Enough. I hope it flops.
Why they ever picked this guy to be Bond is beyond me. Look at him. The only role he is suited for is "The Vladimir Putin Story". I don't like him.
This weekend, everyone should be rushing out to see the new Christopher Guest movie instead.

This is akin to singer-songwriters in the 70s being hyped as "the new Dylan". It is only a standard marketing ploy to get you into the theatres - which, despite your curmudgeonly comments, I know you will be Friday night. I will wave from the front row.

I'm with Anonymous...I think he's kinda hot. Plus I'm hoping he has some acting ability. The other movies I've seen him in he was good.
But to be fair I was so excited about the Christopher Guest movie, For Your Consideration that it's already on my Netflix list.

Its always been my belief that the more the hype, the worse the movie, whoever is wearing the bathers.
Yeah, I tend to stay away from over-hyped movies (Big Fat Greek Wedding, Da Vinci Code) but I have to say that I love Daniel Craig. I liked him in Munich and Layer Cake and can't wait to see him as Bond. And now that you told me he's wet in a bathing suit... Let's just say that I may get over my hatred of movie theaters!
