Someone just added me as a friend to her Facebook page. What do I do?
Is joining Facebook a good thing? It's not anonymous, is it? You actually have to use your real name and particulars, I think.
I don't much like this person who added me. She's on the dragon boat team and I find her very annoying.
Is anybody on Facebook? Isn't it mainly for teenagers and college students?

I'm on facebook. Love it. Got in touch with all kinds of people I hadn't seen in almos 20 years.
here's my meagre 2 cents on this face book thing (and remember, I'm not as cool as jason...only older) this sort-of friend who moved to san diego a few years ago recently wanted to add me as a friend to her face book and I thought: who wants my face in a book? so I said I'm glad to be a friend but that I was too dumb and internet-ignorant to handle being in a face book
and as always, I live by the words of george orwell: "at 50, you get the face you deserve"
and as you know, I'm not far off...
Hmm. Jason is young and "with it" and we are not.
Jason is also a media star now, and we will never be. Congratulations Jason!
The fact that you have to ask about Facebook, and not many of us seem to have an answer, probably sums it up.
*blushes*
This is what the whole facebook thing boils down to:
If you want to stay anonymous, facebook is not for you. The only way old friends and colleagues will find you is with your real name.
But let me say this: I just had a reunion dinner with 2 old friends I hadn't seen in over 10 years.
We hooked up because of facebook.
And thank you! I am enjoying my media starness ;-)
