I have now polished off an entire bag of Late Night Cheeseburger Doritos. These are a mysterious taste sensation. They taste like a very specific cheeseburger, but I can't identify which one. I'm leaning towards A&W, but I don't think that's right. They don't taste like a McD's cheeseburger or one from Harvey's. Some day I will identify, probably in a dream, the exact place where this flavour of cheeseburger is served.
So, I have to rate them as a novelty chip. Interesting, but not something I will crave.
I cannot see myself wanting to eat these on a weekly basis, therefore, although good and intriguing they will not be entering the Pantheon of Chiply Delights.
Rating on the traditional wang-o-meter: 7.

ah: the pantheon of chiply delights!
I agree they are not something I crave (fortunately)...but their innovative flavour alone (and actually getting it right) merits a bigger wang-reading...
I, too, had the feeling they were a specific hamburger, but couldn't quite place it. Definitely not A&W. I am thinking more those cheap flimsy cheeseburgers you would get at a stand at some outdoor event (like at an amusement park or whatever.)

bleh! That's right up there with french fry pizza sorry.
Don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em.
Truly a tasty meat-infused snack (as sick as that may sound.)

Clearly, JAW Fan is more generous with his wang-o-meter than I am.
I'm rather fixated on the half french fry-half chip treat Mr. A. described on Sunday. I'm Jersey-bound!
what they need to invent is "midway" flavour--basically all those greasy summer foods that you can eat while people scream (and lose their change) in the rides above your head
--I'd buy that for a dollar--
