Italy was flat and Paston was brilliant. Out of the European powerhouses of old it would seem that Germany alone are interested in winning ... or even advancing. There has been a lot of “oh dear” and “my word” moments. As for England, I was expecting to miss Rio Ferdinand … I was NOT expecting to miss Eriksson!
Well, Italy? Who cares! They were losing and they got that goal by cheating - they did it to us in 2006 and now they've done it our brothers across the water, New Zealand. I don't care how fabulous they look in their shorts or whatever, I loathe them!!!! Good teams don't need to cheat to win.
