looks like it's as bad as what I had last year...if the Motrin doesn't help with the pain, try the two Tylenols with two Advils...it really works. I even asked the pharmacist about doing that with the antibiotics and she told me it was ok.
now my friggin' tooth is acting up. I've been putting off having a root canal. Can I have some of your drugs? =) They say things come in 3's but I don't think they mean 3 friends. whose next? JAW?
Root canal....let me tell you my root canal story!!!! Had root canal mid way through 2007 - expensive, but health insurance covered about half of it. However, it didn't work properly...so, off to someone called an endodontist - another root canal on the same tooth earlier this year, twice the cost, again, about half covered by insurance. I hope that yours goes better than that!
Well, susieq, I'm a bit glad to learn that someone has had the experience of a root canal that " didn't work". I thought I was alone. My first root canal ended with a crown that wouldn't hold, and as a result I had to have an implant put in. This time round, I'm wondering if I should ask the dentist to skip the root canal/shaky crown phase and go straight to the implant, thus saving us both a lot of hassle.
Good heavens! At least I didn't have to go through all that palaver! Hope it all works out! Mind you, I haven't had the crown put on yet - that can wait till after the overseas holiday.....
