Colorado Avalanche's Joe Sakic had surgery to repair three broken fingers and tendon damage as a result of a snowblower accident at his home. Sakic had the surgery Tuesday night and is expected to miss about three months of hockey action.(CBC)
Huh? 3 months? Snowblower accident?
This implies that Joe clears his own driveway.
The man is a star in the NHL, therefore, he probably makes $30 gazillion per year. Hire a good Italian contractor, Joe. Really. He can mow your lawn in summer, rake the leaves in fall, and do the driveway in winter. It's worth the money.

...you just answered your own question. He's a hockey player. No one said he was clearing his driveway...like most jocks, he was probably drunk with his pals, then for fun decided they would ride the mower around the neighbourhood, one drunken act led to another and then before you know it there he was laying in the middle of the street in NDG (oh no, wait, sorry, I was confusing that last part with you.)

There is a Richard and Willie quote that is appropriate here, but I refuse to dare type it lest it be traced back to me as something I myself said.
