Last night I dreamt that our friends in Ottawa, J&J, were having a baby. Everyone seemed to know this except me. I kept thinking, how long has everyone known this? how could I not know this? This is big and highly improbable news, but everybody was quite nonchalant about it.
In the dream, Mr. Anonymous said, “oh they saw how great our kids are and decided to have one”. Definitely the kind of statement that only gets said in dreams.

Mnay people have decided to have children after visiting us and seeing how wonderful ours are. This is less a dream than an extension of reality.
But unless I am not privy to the secret, J & J are not among them.
Well, if it's a boy I hope they name it John or Jeremy, and if it's a girl Jane or Joanne. That way, they would all have J as a first initial, then they could each get matching burgundy sweatshirts with a big J on the front, and they can all wear them at the same time whenever they left the house...

Didn’t Jerry Seinfeld once say that the only reason children are here is to replace us. I just don’t want to actively contribute to my own obsolescence ... although the J motif sounds like fun.

I vote for cardigans over sweatshirts, but that's just me. Cardigans are more family-oriented.
